A woman has reportedly undergone surgery to have a third breast implanted.

A 21 year old woman has reportedly paid $20,000 to have a third ‘breast’ implanted between her two natural breasts. Going by the name of Jasmine Tridevil (not her real name, but quite clever), she claims to have approached 50 doctors who refused to complete the procedure on the grounds that it would be ‘unethical’ and against accepted medical standards.

Hailing from Tampa, Florida (if it is weird or wonderful…it likely happened in Florida!) the woman claims she wanted the plastic surgery done so that men would find her less attractive. Perhaps she doesn’t really understand men that well!

If you feel like you’ve seen a three breasted woman before, you might be thinking of a scene from the film Total Recall. Hoping to find her way on the silver screen, Jasmine is reportedly now being followed by a film crew hoping to make a reality TV show documenting the difficulties of being a three breasted woman.

Considerable Doubt Cast

Despite almost universal acceptance by the news media of her claims (without independent verification), many are speculating that the pictures and videos (all shot by the woman herself) may be part of a hoax. Snopes.com reports that the woman resembles an Alisha Jasmine Hessler, who works as a massage therapist in Tampa. The site also notes that online records state that Alisha Jasmine Hessler was charged with ‘fraudulent use of personal information’ on March 14, 2013, and also made headlines in December 2013 after making claims that she was assaulted by a man while walking home from a club. Hessler supposedly offered her attacker the choice of standing on a street corner wearing a dunce cap while holding a sign that read “I beat women” rather than being reported to police and charged with a crime. She also said “she wanted to have the man who beat her sign a waiver allowing her to beat him for 10 minutes.” Local police say no formal report was every filed against the man, and that Hessler did not return their calls when they pushed for more information.
